6 Questions to Ask the Interviewee No Matter the Role

Irrespective of what the role and its job description may be, some questions are common, nevertheless important, to all of them. The answers to crucial questions must be able to clear the motivations, interests, values, and integrity of an individual. Such questions could be any of these or a combination of two or more:

  • What makes you motivated or passionate about this role in this particular company?

  • What do you consider are your weaknesses in personal as well as professional space and how do you try to improve them?

  • How do you deal with setbacks in life?

  • How do you deal with conflicts or disagreements with your managers, friends, or peers?

  • What is more important to you- money or passion?

  • If you find your direct superiors involved in something illegal or unethical, what will you do about it? Will you report it?
